Situated in village of St Nicholas in rural setting, close to Cardiff; two school buildings, both of which have own playground. The first is the original Victorian school and the second is the modern flat-roof building, alongside which is a large playing field; has its own kitchen. The school, although Church in Wales voluntary controlled, has strong links with the church and follows the Anglican tradition in both worship and ethos, stressing Christian values and attitudes. The pupils participate in promoting this ethos through the election of a school council, which meets once a week. Dragon Sport school; two after-school sports clubs as well as a 'Newspaper' club.
